Space guide

What each space type shows

Seven filters, seven kinds of wall. Here's what to look for in each one, with the projects that show it best.

  • Offices

    01

    Offices & Lobbies

The biggest group here, and the core of our corporate wall graphics work. WAT put a large maroon logo behind reception, and Aduro's lobby carries a red 'Be Great at Anything' wall. Core values run beside PureDry's conference rooms and down UMC's hallway.

  • Churches

    02

    Churches

Church walls carry mission and welcome. Evergreen Church lined its entry hallway with its seal and four values, and Pursuit Church put 'Revival or we die' across its lobby. Ardor is a faith-based company, and church walls matter to us.

  • Retail

    03

    Restaurants & Retail

Food, drink and retail walls give guests something to photograph. Reuben's Brews in Seattle chose an isometric brewery drawing, and Red Lounge built a logo wall for guest photos. Bickford Ford went with a historic Ford street photo, while a Lamborghini showroom chose quiet circles behind the cars.

  • Gyms

    04

    Gyms & Schools

Studios and courts sell a feeling, and sports wall graphics carry it. Juicy Power Yoga chose a mountain sunset, and Armory Pickleballs put its crest by the front door. School hallways and gyms use the same films, with laminate to stand up to scuffs.

  • Exhibits

    05

    Exhibits & Museums

Exhibits need big type, clean seams and a plan for the next show. At the Northwest African American Museum in Seattle, wall wraps and large history panels built an exhibit, and the Interrupting Privilege timeline runs floor to ceiling.

  • Glass

    06

    Windows & Storefronts

Glass faces the street all day. WAT's perforated film shows its logo outside while staff still see out, and We Be Book'n dressed its storefront in botanical graphics. Color film brightens upper-floor windows at WYND Belltown in Seattle.

  • Other

    07

    Other

The jobs that don't fit a filter: a stadium fan mural wrapped around a door, a sky printed on the ceiling over an indoor pool and the break room at Amazon's DWX3 delivery station. Got an odd space? Send a photo and we'll tell you what fits.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Did Ardor install every project on this page?

Yes. Every photo is an Ardor Printing project, printed in our Snohomish shop. Wall wraps are installed on-site by Ardor's own crew.

Can you recreate a design I see here for my business?

We'll design something built for your brand and your wall. Our in-house designers start from your logo, photos or idea, and design is quoted separately.

What kinds of spaces do you work in?

Offices, lobbies, churches, restaurants, breweries, retail showrooms, gyms, studios, warehouses, museums, storefronts and building exteriors. We also do ceilings and floor graphics.

Can a wall wrap go around doors and windows?

Yes. Panels are trimmed around doors, windows and interior glass, as in the PureDry and Gene Johnson offices, so the art reads as one piece.

Do you install outside Seattle?

Yes. We work across Snohomish and King counties, from Arlington and Marysville to Seattle, Bellevue, Renton and Kent.

What film did you use on these walls?

It depends on the wall. We match the film at the on-site measure: removable or permanent adhesive, smooth film or textured film for block and stucco, and a matte, gloss or dry-erase laminate where it fits. Exterior walls get exterior-rated film.

Do you do exterior walls and building graphics?

Yes. Exterior logos, lettering and building wraps are installed from lifts, with textured films for block, stucco and brick. The Live Wire Electric logo in this gallery is applied right to the building's wood siding.

How do I pick a style for my wall?

Start with the room's job. A simple rule of thumb: reception walls carry a logo, hallways suit values or timelines, and guest areas suit a mural people want to photograph. Save the photos you like here and send them with a picture of your wall. Design is quoted separately.
